Problem Problem

There are 23 billion connected devices in the world; this number doubles every 36 months and will exceed 100 billion in the next decade. All these autonomous sensors require secure auto management and tracking. The information will allow optimization when designing smart networks and the reduction of related operation and maintenance costs. It shall be noted that machines begin interacting with each other and become market participants: they purchase and sell services. E.g. smart wind turbines or solar panels and street lighting, automatic charging pods and drones, etc.

Facts

Lack of security

Due to technical peculiarities, the IoT sector is the most vulnerable to hackers’ attacks, and reading about botnets consisting of thousands of devices becomes a common think. E.g. botnet Mirai consisting of hundred thousands of IP-cameras

Inefficient resource management

Poor management of electric power, water and heat result in their overconsumption in certain cases up to 50%

Absence of automatic traffic and infrastructure control

In downtown San Francisco 20-30% of all traffic congestion is caused by people hunting for a parking spot

Overwhelming number of IoT devices

Separated networks of smart homes, manufactures, smart cities, etc. can contain from a dozen to dozens of millions of devices and sensors. They need automatic and efficient control with minimal human participation

Features Features

The features are based on the use of secure machine-readable data format that leads to automatic processing of all incoming information.

Things get interesting when connected devices and services start creating synergy effect and compound applications within their own verticals and across industries.

Use Cases

Management and control

Remotely turn any device or appliance on/off. Track a device's energy consumption and receive notifications

Data monetization

Collection and sale of analytical data related to the utilization of smart home devices

Saving

Save resources and money on heating bills by adapting to user’s usage patterns

Smart wearables

Continuously capture heart rate patterns, activity levels, calorie expenditure and skin temperature 24/7

Monitoring and tracking

Monitoring and tracking of agricultural and other products from their manufacture to the end users

Maintenance

Cost-effective maintenance of infrastructure of communities, residential compounds, etc.

Municipal resources management

Automated efficient pricing depending on the consumption: electric power, parking lots, automatic selection of optimal route considering traffic jams, etc.

Business model Business model

Our approach is to create a unified IoT network and public database of smart devices with the provision of their data in the machine-readable format. This enables automated collection and processing of all kinds of statistics, which will be used to develop data-driven services and business decisions. It is hard to overestimate the value of such combined big data of millions and soon trillions of devices for developers, business, smart cities, owners of smart stores/offices/homes, etc. where every new smart device add synergy. Our business model is similar to other social media platforms like LinkedIn or Facebook. It relies on the sale of premium accounts with an access to advanced features, tools and statistics, on receiving a percentage of sold data, 3rd party services and payments between IoT devices. Highly targeted ads and promotion services also will be a source of income.

Our clients

IoT owners

IoT owners will be able to consolidate into networks. Unlike people, most of devices do not have to protect their data, and owners can get revenue by selling their data

IoT manufacturers

The statistics of breakdowns and their connection with geo location and operating conditions: defects elimination and production optimization. No need to develop their own software

Business

Predictive replacement and maintenance. Premium accounts will extent control and analytic possibilities for connected devices. Security services for each connected device

Providers

Search for clients and opportunities. Lease of IoT power and services like Amazon does it for the cloud market

Developers

Apps and services development. IoT “Google Play”

Roadmap roadmap

2024
Minimum viable product
  • development of a blockchain-based authentication module
  • blockchain registration of IoT devices
  • create and display IoT profiles as web pages based on schema.org.
    Check Tech Demo.
  • subscription and notification functions
  • development of paid functions to control devices and access to their premium data and statistics
2024
Initial database

Before the project will be completed we plan to develop a MVP, conduct first sales, and get enough traction to attract investors. Participation in EU programmes will help us to solve a chicken-egg issue: we will create the initial IoT database of thousands of devices with the help of EU testbeds (SmartSantander and dozen others). This will help us demonstrate the main idea and benefits of commercial use to the first clients. First partner-manufacturers will get free premium access to statistics.

2024
Promotion

As one of the first promotion techniques we give an opportunity to manage devices via commands in social media and to display selected alerts and notifications in the feed, so that subscribers could see them. Every message will contain a link to our platform. Referral campaign will allow our early adopters attract new users for rewards and free access to premium features.
